Meet The Pitmaster
Union Pig BBQ was born from Kevin Egan’s obsession with delivering the highest-quality slow-smoked BBQ to the Northeast. Inspired by years of traveling through legendary Southern BBQ regions and learning directly from master pitmasters, Kevin blends time-honored techniques with regional flavors to create a uniquely refined BBQ experience.

Kevin’s journey began over a decade ago with a cheap smoker and pure curiosity. After quickly mastering the craft of low-and-slow cooking and upgrading to a Lang stick burner, his BBQ gained a loyal following through word of mouth. He went on to study with renowned pitmasters across Texas, the Carolinas, Alabama, New York, and Massachusetts, and was selected as one of only 70 pitmasters nationwide to attend the prestigious Camp Brisket at Texas A&M.

A proud member of the New England BBQ Society and Texas Foodways Alliance, Kevin brings a true union of flavors, styles, and techniques to every cook. Union Pig BBQ is his passion on a plate—crafted to leave guests full, impressed, and coming back for more.
